"Generation Playback - Requiem for the analog world" is an interactive installation by Julia Leitmeyer, where past present and future will meet each other, inspired by Fellini’s “prova d’orchestra”.

The faces of the public are projected onto the bodies of live musicians through a one-way-mirror. While they mimic the musicians the public will get criticism or motivational talks from Julia. Without them knowing other people judge their performance by giving them likes. The likes show up besides the face of the participants and when they don't have enough likes their face will disappear. In the end the winner will solely appear on screen.

The installation was exhibited at "Art Basel 2016".
